Our Story

Gopika Impex is a recognized export house in India exporting seafood. The raw material is sourced from landing centers on the Western coast of India and processed at factories in Mumbai, Kochi and Porbandar.  The production is under our close supervision. We bring over two decades of experience in procuring and processing seafood. Some of our buyers have been partnering with us since the year of our inception.

Gopika Impex is founded by Mr. Prasanth Gopi who has more than two decades of experience in processing, manufacturing, quality control and marketing in the frozen food industry. He started his career as a production in charge before moving into quality. Quickly realizing that the key to good quality is managing raw material purchase, he moved rapidly in making many innovations in raw material sourcing. Seeking a career change and new challenges, he moved to marketing before branching out on his own and setting up his own factory in Kochi.

Leveraging his extensive contacts that he garnered during his professional stint in raw material supply, he turned his merchant export business that he had to start from scratch into the very successful Gopika Impex that has become synonymous with quality today.

His out of box thinking and swift execution of his ideas has enabled Gopika Impex to deliver innovative solutions to the customers, suppliers and other stakeholders alike.
